As Director of Global Programs, the role Marita Schardt has is to develop strategic partnerships and lead projects in the United States of America (USA). Marita Schardt brings to Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA) twenty-seven years of multidisciplinary experience in corporate design (Gensler and IA (Interior Architects), corporate real estate (PNC and BNY Mellon), and commercial real estate (CBRE).
At these firms, Marita served a diverse client base including global financial services firms (Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, JPMC, Bank Boston), multinational law firms (Weil Gotshal & Manges, Hale and Dorr, King & Spalding), and corporations (Verizon, Pharmacia, Timex). Marita’s highest impact is in workplace strategy, market strategy, change management, communications and real estate strategy.
At AWA Marita Schardt will help clients develop holistic solutions that integrate people, work processes, technology, and place. Marita works directly with senior management by helping them make (and communicate) better decisions about how they support their people, position their businesses and impact performance.
Marita holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture and Planning. A serious runner of 10 marathons and counting (including Boston and New York), Marita brings passion and energy to team and work, and loves to take on new challenges every day.
