Latifa KapadiaDirector of Corporate Sustainability, PwC

With 10+ years experience in driving PwC’s environmental and social impact, Latifa has been instrumental in the firm maintaining its 2007 carbon neutral status and zero waste to landfill in 2012.  She is responsible for developing the firm’s sustainability strategy, which includes an ambition to achieve near term net zero targets by 2030 validated by the SBTi, supporting a “just transition” by contributing to green skills development and compelling our 25,000 strong workforce to make sustainable choices. Latifa is the Chair of the BitC Net Zero Carbon Taskforce and also sits on the PwC Global Net Zero Working Group.

Lucienne Mosquera – Founding Partner, SustainCRE

Lucienne is an industry leader in the field of Economic and Technical Structuring of green process optimisation. With over 25 years of international experience, Lucienne has led numerous sustainable hotel real estate development projects across Europe. As the Founding Partner of SustainCRE, she spearheads the company’s mission to bridge the green performance and delivery gap in the real estate industry.

 

 

Richard LupoChartered Environmentalist , MD  SHIFT Environment and author ‘Happiness By Numbers’

MD of SHIFT Environment (driving sustainability in the built environment).Richard is highly experienced at leading organisational sustainability assessments, including proprietary SHIFT assessments for social landlords, Code for Sustainable Homes assessments for house-builders, SECR and ESOS compliance assessments, and wellbeing assessments using the WELL AP scheme.  

His book ‘Happiness By Numbers’ describes the science of wellbeing measurement and incorporating environmental protection.

John Flexen Non-Executive Director, SustainCRE

John is a Chartered Surveyor with over 35 years of international corporate real estate experience across office, retail and industrial sectors. With a deep understanding of the occupation life cycle, including strategy, lease negotiation, workplace, design, construction and facilities management, John is committed to supporting the SustainCRE mission to deliver impactful green optimized workplace solutions.  Prior to joining SustainCRE his roles included Head of CRE Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley, Partner at King Sturge (now JLL) and Group Property Director of Booker PLC.

Steve Smith Senior Facilities Manager,  The Central England Co-operative Society

With over 20 years experience, Steve is responsible for the facilities and energy management activities for more than 450 facilities.  He has operated on the client and supplier side of the FM industry with organisations including MITIE and Claires Accessories where he was responsible for 1500 stores across 15 countries.
