Podcast summary

The pandemic ushered in changes to the workplace that have already left a long-lasting legacy for organisations and their employees.

Two years on from the pandemic and hybrid working is no longer a buzzword. Instead, the concept of working in a hybrid way has become the new normal.  This has been made evident by AWA’s global data study, the AWA Hybrid Working Index – which launched in July 2022 and is already now firmly established as a recognised authority for hybrid working data – and firmly indicates that people across organisations, geographies and sectors have not returned to pre-Covid patterns.

In this latest episode, host Karen speaks to AWA’s Andrew Mawson and Josh Sumner who have been central to the research, about the recently released second round of data (collated between September and November 2022) which reflects the hybrid working policies of 250,000 employees, spanning offices in 33 countries.  Amongst other findings, spanning sectors and geographies, the latest study further supports the notion that hybrid working is here to stay, with people now coming into the office an average of just 1.5 days a week, versus nearly four days a week before the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you’re interested to know more about the research, this is an episode not to be missed.

Featured speakers:

Andrew Mawson, Founder of AWA

Joshua Sumner, Associate Consultant, AWA
