AWA proudly organises Workplace Week for BB Children in Need
The idea for annual event came about 6 years ago when Andrew Mawson (MD, AWA) was watching the Children in Need TV show. He began to wonder if there was a way he could come up with an event with a focus on topics ‘workplace’ for the industry to get involved in and help raise money for a great cause.
“It took me two years to get something going… In 2009 when we started Workplace Week it just consisted of a small number of events. People were so enthusiastic about the idea that every year for the last 4 years we’ve done something bigger and better!” – Andrew Mawson
Through fantastic support from Sponsors and everyone who participated, we raised over £15,000 for Children in Need in 2014. The event is fast becoming an absolute ‘must’ in the professional calendar.
Workplace Week 2017 will take place between 13th and 17th November raising money for BBC Children in Need.
This year’s programme will include:
A programme of 90 minute ‘Working Workplace’ tours, visiting some of the UK’s most innovative workplaces
A selection of inspirational Fringe Events
Workplace Week Annual Dinner hosted by Willis Towers Watson
