Using Research to Underpin Workplace Delivery & Improve Workplace performance
What makes a difference in the workplace? What influences your people enough to improve workplace performance? Forget the latest fads or clever consultants ideas – we have done extensive research to find the best science in the topics of the productivity of knowledge workers and cognitive performance (what our brains need in order to do their best work). At the Workplace PIN workshop, Advanced Workplace Associates shared the findings of the research and members discussed how these ideas could be used in the workplace – to provide the environment and culture needed for people to do their best work.
In addition, there was a case study from Joint Head of HR Louise Caligari at London & Partners, who have trialed our Six Factors methodology. Louise talked about the interest the business had in these new findings and how they had adopted much of the thinking, giving them a new language to tackle some challenges in a different way.
Hosts PwC also demonstrated their collaborative platform (Spark), which allows people to create profiles of themselves, find each other, collaborate and conduct a whole range of other activities (like an Intranet, but more!).
