
Annick Slootmaekers
Annick is a seasoned Interior Architect/ Design Director with a wealth of experience leading multiple multinational design teams and working on project typologies ranging from workplace, retail, wellness & healthcare to high rise residential towers.
Annick holds a Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture from the Thomas More University in Mechelen Belgium and is an international member of the IIDA. With over 25 years’ experience in the design field, her previous roles include APAC Regional Design Director for MCX, Head of Design for JLL China and Studio Leader for Robarts Spaces Beijing. Annick is fluent in English and Dutch, intermediate in French and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Prior to her time in China, Annick worked for 10 years in New York City as a Senior Interior Architect on award-winning projects including Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town, MTV Time Square offices and Extell Development HQ. Recently, Annick led the JLL Beijing office renovation and relocation and led the design teams for WPP Beijing’s relocation project.
