Devanshi Patel
Devanshi Patel is a Senior Director Workplace Strategy and Design Transformation at AWA. With more than 25 years of experience, she brings together expertise in design and construction, technology, business strategy and organisational transformation to help clients create workplaces that respond to changing business and workforce needs.
Devanshi works at the intersection of design, business and human experience. She believes that successful workplaces must do more than function efficiently—they should strengthen culture, enable collaboration and help people perform at their best. Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical delivery, ensuring that workplace solutions align leadership priorities with the experiences and aspirations of employees.
Most recently, Devanshi led Design, Construction and Workplace Strategy for IBM across Asia Pacific and Japan, overseeing more than 2.5 million sq. ft. of workplace projects across ten countries. Her career has also included senior leadership roles at ANSR, JLL and NELSON/NCube, where she led workplace strategy, design transformation and project delivery for organisations including PepsiCo, Target, 3M, Cisco, Siemens, Hewlett Packard, 7-Eleven, lululemon and AB InBev.
Devanshi began her career in software engineering before moving into interior architecture, workplace design and corporate real estate strategy. This multidisciplinary journey gives her a distinctive perspective on how technology, the built environment and evolving ways of working can come together to support meaningful organisational transformation.
She holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering, studied Interior Architecture at the Art Institute of Seattle and completed an Executive Leadership programme through Cornell. She has also completed a Digital Marketing programme at the Indian School of Business and is a WELL Accredited Professional. Devanshi is an active member of CoreNet Global and a co-founder of WiREnet World, a global network supporting women in the real estate industry.
