Workplace Performance Innovation Network

The Workplace PIN (Performance Innovation Network) is a real estate 'occupier only' group that uses research, shared experiences, case-studies and professionally facilitated workshops to give members the know-how, confidence and tools to improve workplace performance.

How does the Workplace PIN work? Member companies choose topics related to their challenges and along with other senior managers from member organizations, participate in research and workshops hosted on member sites, designed to enable improvements in workplace performance.

The Workplace PIN will help people responsible for the workplace to take innovative practices and to apply them to improve their workplace performance.

The Workplace PIN can be used to create evidence to support cases for change, provide an action-oriented development vehicle for teams, and generate intelligence on workplace innovations being deployed by other organizations.

How is the Workplace 'PIN' different to other groups?

  • Our focus is on the strategic deployment of the workplace, and as such is appropriate only to senior managers.
  • Our team of facilitators and experts provide real tips and experience to accelerate change without risk.
  • We have a strong underpinning performance improvement bias - useful output, no 'so what' factor.

TOPICS COVERED THIS YEAR

  1. Tools and techniques for measuring, managing and improving workplace performance
What technologies and techniques can be applied to monitor workplace performance in 'Business as Usual situations' and how do you use the data to best impact.
  2. Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)
How are others approaching this, what are they doing, and how will they measure success? How can space use and disposals impact on CRC strategy?
  3. Mobility within the office, and outside
Processes that organizations have used to implement mobile working in and out of the office, what works best and who is furthest ahead and why?
  4. Maintaining commitment to workplace
How have organizations continued to build on their flexible workplace long after it has become part of 'business as usual'?
  5. FM outsourcing and 'value-add'
How far have companies gone in outsourcing FM? Once savings have been made, does outsourced management add real value?

Deliverables for each Study Group:
