Periods of sustained disruption demand a different kind of leadership. One that moves beyond control, prediction and optimisation, and instead creates the conditions for action, ownership and renewal across the organisation.
This breakfast forum explores what it means to lead with agency in complex, fast-changing environments. Drawing on AWA’s research in organisational psychology, neuroscience and change management, the session will examine how leaders can empower people to act with confidence, adapt to uncertainty and contribute meaningfully to transformation efforts.
Through evidence-led insight and facilitated peer discussion, the forum will focus on how senior leaders can redesign decision-making, strengthen trust and create momentum without overwhelming their organisations. The emphasis is on practical leadership behaviours and organisational conditions that enable renewal to take hold and endure.
