Andrew Rogoyski - Innovation Director, University of Surrey

Andrew is Innovation Director at the University of Surrey’s Institute for People-Centred AI, where he leads partnerships applying artificial intelligence to real-world challenges in sectors including education, finance, and the creative industries. With over 30 years’ experience across government, industry and academia — including senior roles at Logica, QinetiQ and the Cabinet Office — Andrew specialises in mission-driven innovation and the ethical application of AI. He is a passionate advocate for technology that serves people and society.

Lisa Feldman Barrett, PhD - Professor of Psychology, Northeastern University

Lisa Feldman Barrett is among the top 0.1% most cited scientists globally, renowned for her groundbreaking research in psychology and neuroscience. She is a University Distinguished Professor at Northeastern University and holds research appointments at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where she serves as Chief Science Officer at the Center for Law, Brain & Behaviour.

Lisa is the author of two acclaimed books: How Emotions Are Made, which challenges traditional views of emotion with a new theory grounded in neuroscience, and Seven and a Half Lessons About the Brain, a lively, accessible guide to how our brains work.

In the UK, she recently appeared on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, bringing her insights to a wide audience.

Nick Barr - Senior Director of Global Workplace Innovation and Experience, Google DeepMind

Nick Barr is the Senior Director of Global Workplace Innovation and Experience at Google DeepMind, a world leading AI research company that aims to solve intelligence to advance science and benefit humanity. Nick is passionate about creating environments and experiences that enable, energise, and inspire people to do pioneering work. He leads a broad range of operational functions including workplace, AV and network infrastructure, events and experiences and international business operations such as logistics, procurement and extended workforce.

Brad Taylor - Director of Consulting, AWA

Brad is AWA’s Director of Consulting at AWA specialising in behavioural change management, culture, employee engagement and organisational development. He’s a qualified HR professional with more than 30 years’ experience in the finance and professional association sectors and has undertaken challenging workplace assignments with BP, Microsoft, Amnesty International, Amnesty UK, Breast Cancer. He recently gave evidence to the House of Lords select committee on Home Working.
