Podcast summary

Whether our workplace experience has been carefully configured or cobbled together as an afterthought has a huge impact on how we feel about our organisation’s vision and its values.

It’s not enough for businesses to put slogans on the walls of their reception area and hope staff feel inspired when they enter the building. If the lived experience of staff, both in the office and at home, jars with the organisation’s core principles, then employees will sense the lack of authenticity. Over time, this will make them more likely to disengage and ultimately seek employment elsewhere. In the increasingly competitive market for talent, workplace experiences matter more than ever.

Featured speakers:

Andrew Mawson – Founder & Managing Director, AWA

Brad Taylor – Director of Consulting, AWA

Catrin Lewis, Head of Global Engagement and Internal Communications, Reward Gateway
